"For am I now seeking the favor of men, or for God? Or am I striving to please men? If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a bond-servant of Christ." Galatians 1:10
Do I fear man or God? Do I serve man or God?

I think we serve man most when we are proud and certain of our serving of God. Our world becomes limited and sheltered and surrounded by the fears and limits of our own subconscious will - the dangers we can't see, masked by the Pleasure we take in doing something we see as worthwhile. We use God as an excuse to revel in our own Worth.
We serve God most when we do not care about the job, but find Compassion and Love for man, when we conquer these fears not by limiting ourselves, but by seeking Someone greater rather than fleeing something else, because then we find a deeper understanding of God and his mysteries. And when we see for ourselves in the world around us the true strength of such courage in love, His grasp on our heart grows deeper.
